Fingering number right & left hands

The fingers of the hand are numbered 1 through 5, commencing with the thumb. This standardized numbering system is universally applied in piano notation. It is important to acknowledge that various fingerings may be suitable for a given passage, and not all fingerings will be effective for every pianist. Nevertheless, the fingerings provided in this publication are recommended for adherence, as they have proven effective for the majority of students and contribute to the development of sound technical practices.
